Documentary Wedding Photographer
I am a wedding photographer in Surrey but also working throughout the UK
Welcome to Chris Legg Photography! Based in East Molesey in Surrey, I cover weddings predominantly in the Surrey, London and Berkshire areas, although I do also photograph weddings across the rest of the UK. My style leans strongly towards that of documentary wedding photography, my aim being to capture the entire day, from bridal preparation right through to the first dance, with as little intervention and interruption as possible. Whilst the majority of my work is documentary coverage, I also understand the importance of those special shots of the two of you but try to achieve that in a relaxed and fun way whilst allowing you to spend as much of the day as possible with your guests. The most important thing for me is for you to be free to enjoy your day, and I like to think the comments from previous clients highlight that.
"You have done such beautiful work! We absolutely love your true style and beautiful flow to your images...they are all so touching! Thank you for being a fantastic photographer on our wedding day. Your images are absolutely amazing and having you around is a pleasure."

Over the years I have had the pleasure of working at some of the most amazing venues in the UK. As a wedding photographer in Surrey I am surrounded by places such as Hampton Court House, Pembroke Lodge and Warren House. Then only a short drive away I can be in the centre of London and at Dartmouth House or the Landmark Hotel. I also spend quite a lot of time, last year especially so, in Berkshire where I got to take photographs at some truly amazing venues including the Beaumont Estate in Windsor or up in Oxfordshire at the fantastic Bix Manor near Henley on Thames.
I am incredibly lucky to have such a fine array of amazing locations near me, although I also cover much smaller and more intimate weddings in far less grand surroundings. One of the greatest advantages of a documentary wedding photographer is that the emphasis is more on the emotions and interactions of the day than the location. As long as people are having fun, there is always a great story to be told.
"It was an amazing day which you have managed to capture so amazingly well. It was a day full of laughter and love, and we will treasure the images you captured for us. Many thanks."
