Wedding Photographer Surrey | Chris Legg Photography
I am a documentary photographer based in Surrey but also working throughout the UK
Welcome to Chris Legg Photography! I'm based in East Molesey (just near Hampton Court) in Surrey, and I cover weddings predominantly in the Surrey, London and Berkshire areas, although I do also photograph weddings across the rest of the UK. My style is most often described as documentary wedding photography, my aim being to capture the entire day, from bridal preparation right through to the first dance, with as little intervention and interruption as possible. In years to come, when you look at your wedding photos, I want you to able to remember the moment that was captured. The most important thing for me is for you to be free to enjoy your day, and I like to think the comments from previous clients highlight that.
"You have done such beautiful work! We absolutely love your true style and beautiful flow to your images...they are all so touching! Thank you for being a fantastic photographer on our wedding day. Your images are absolutely amazing and having you around is a pleasure."
Katharina and Chris
Over the years I have had the pleasure of working at some of the most amazing venues in the UK. As a wedding photographer in Surrey I am surrounded by such stunning places as Hampton Court House, Pembroke Lodge and Warren House. Then only a short drive away I can be in the centre of London and at Dartmouth House or the Landmark Hotel, or over in Berkshire where I also spend quite a lot of time. I've been lucky enough to have the chance to document some amazing weddings in beautiful venues including the Beaumont Estate in Windsor or up in Oxfordshire at the fantastic Bix Manor near Henley on Thames.
As well as the breathtaking, luxurious venues, I love to cover much smaller and more intimate weddings in far less grand surroundings. One of the greatest advantages of a documentary wedding photographer is that the emphasis is more on the emotions and interactions of the day than the location. As long as people are having fun, there is always a great story to be told.
"It was an amazing day which you have managed to capture so amazingly well. It was a day full of laughter and love, and we will treasure the images you captured for us. Many thanks."
