Richmond Park Engagement Photography

What better way to kick off the start of my wedding season than with some Richmond Park engagement photography! It is such a stunningly beautiful location and I am incredibly lucky to have it almost right on my doorstep. I am photographing Julia and Alim’s wedding at Pitzhanger Manor next month and really looking forward to it.

Meeting up at Broomfield car park and then taking a stroll through the park, it is a brilliant place for this kind of a shoot. Lots of space and, despite the huge numbers of runners and cyclists on a Sunday morning, once you head into the park it is actually pretty quiet, especially at this time of year. Looking fantastic and dressed perfectly for an engagement shoot (similar colour palettes, appropriately dressed for the weather – and that was just me!) we set off down towards Isabella Plantation. The recent snow and months of wet weather meant it was a little muddy underfoot, fortunately Julia had her wellies (Alim, however, was not quite so lucky and I think regretted not packing some hiking boots!), so we did have to pick our spots a little more carefully. It was a really fun session and a I love having the chance to meet up and have a chat about the day whilst also getting a few nice photos of the two of them. It’s hard to see from the photos quite how bitterly cold it was, the wind was biting but they kept smiling and laughing throughout which was fantastic.

Check back in a few weeks for images from their Pitzhanger Manor wedding and if you are looking for a wedding or engagement photographer, please have a look through my portfolio and get in touch. In the meantime, find below a few of my favourite images from the session!
