A couple of weeks back saw me at Wentworth Golf Club to celebrate the Christening of Alessia. Starting with the preparations, a really big part of the day and just the right combination of manic and fun, Alessia was as good as gold letting her Godmothers get her dressed for the ceremony. This particular Christening was on Palm Sunday and to say the church was packed was an understatement. As with all things when Italians are involved, there was a natural flair and theatre to the ceremony – I have no idea why but it all just sounds so good in Italian!
This was followed by a reception at the rather stunning Wentworth Club. A gorgeous sunny day seemed apt for a Christening celebration and the views over the golf course were lovely.
