One of the other shots I grabbed of Big Ben whilst testing out the tripod. This really was just a quick grab which is a shame as it worked better than I expected it to. Originally shot in portrait and then cropped right in as the short exposure time meant the surface texture of the Thames was too distracting. Could also have done with exposure blending the face of Big Ben (as with the other shot).

Great composition and lovely moody dusk. The moon is spot on amazing how a tiny detail in the right place can perfectly set the shot off.
