One of the chaps on Talk Photography set a challenge last week, trying to see what people came up with when given a mundane everyday object. The challenge was 3 pictures of chairs by Sunday Night. I had 2 of them sorted by Sunday morning but still needed a 3rd, then when I got up it was really cold and frosty out so thought I would do an abstract black and white shot of the garden recliner. I've taken shots of it before but have never come up with anything I liked before but was relatively pleased with the pattern in this one.

I really like this, a great abstract that suits black & white. Dave Gibbeson @ 5th January, 2009
Nice work. I totally missed submitting my entry. Also didn't realise it was 3 pictures! Graeme Lawton @ 5th January, 2009
Great abstract and it goes really well in B&W Frida @ 5th January, 2009
As commented elsewhere, one of the best entries. Perfectly abstract and expertly converted to B&W. You sir, are awesome.
