Started putting the Christmas decorations up at the weekend. I love this bobbing head snowman, bought him a few years ago and he has now been commandeered by my daughter as part of the decorations in her playroom. Its a great room at Christmas, we have lights all over it. Plenty of blog shots with a Christmas theme to come I think, the tree is getting decorated tonight!!

Nice shot! Well composed and the background is really pleasing and adds to the shot. Martin @ 16th December, 2008
Nice Chris, I love the DOF. Dave Gibbeson @ 16th December, 2008
Great and funny Christmas shot with beautiful depth of field and backlight...COMPLIMENTS! Ciao :-) Simone @ 16th December, 2008
Really nice Christmas image. I love the DOF and the lights in the background. Frida @ 16th December, 2008
Love the expression :-) and the cool light in the background gives it a very cold look even if it gives me a warm feeling in the heart :-) Claus Petersen @ 16th December, 2008
Very nice idea. I also should make some Christmas shots :-)
If you would light the snowman (or at least his face) more than you end up a superb shot. LightningPaul @ 17th December, 2008
He's quite funny looking. Great exposure. You balanced it quite well both in that regard and composition-wise. 613photo @ 21st December, 2008
Get it on a card mate, lovely. EgoPimp @ 24th December, 2008
Mate, fantastic subject and composition here. I absolutely love the crispness of the snowman coupled with the dreamy background and the positioning of the blue star (?) in the background which is softened by the bokeh but still distinguishable.
